In my opinion, these are the most discussed parts. The ones you say in the video.

Actually I'm very very interested to make a mini guide about the fortune tellers. This point is not so used as Shenmue 3 or main characters but it has very curious information about the future episodes.

Ahh true, especially the one about the fortune teller saying that a friend will become an enemy.

Ill look into that.

Thanks Fenix!

great idea. probably some real gems waiting to be discovered.

imo maybe Ren betrays Ryo for a portion of the game, joining the side of the chiyoumen, but then later he rejoins ryo side and admits that he was only pretending to defect in order to sabotage their plans or something.

there is an image of ren riding a horse holding a flag with a dragon on it - don't know if its means anything - maybe a symbol for change of allegiance? lan di's dragon?) probably not since it would more likely be the chi you insignia.

any one else think that there will be horse riding in the later games?
-shenhua on horse cg art
-ren on horse concept art
shenhua mentions the horses of bailu village.

Loving this series.

I purposely chose not to investigate anything Shenmue 3 related. So hearing your mention the chi you mythology and anything to do with Shenmue 3 is news to me.

Keep up the awesome work.

You are welcome. I've got some savegames to repeat the prediction in Wan Chai and Kowloon. Yesterday I got another one very curious. Something like "a woman with red hair (Joy???) is waiting for you close to a red machine (or something similar) and she will give you bad luck".

Damn... Sounds like I'm trolling but I swear this is the true. Or just what I actually remember. Maybe she was talking about Joy trapped and the red cage with Baihu inside. I'll look for it the next week.

You also have a concept art with Ren throwing grenades :rotflmao:
But in my opinion, Yu thought to include horses in future sagas. As far as I see, Ryo's trip is taking him out of modern civilization to explore the most mystic part of chinese culture so I think we'll see Ryo and his friends in remote areas of China witch the most used transport is the horse or boats. Like Mongolia for example.

I promise to watch this at some point, as I like Shengoro. He's a good egg.

The "friend becomes an enemy" thing is referring to Zhu Yuanda. I don't believe that any Shenmue I characters will reappear, as it already looks like Ren will be at Ryo's side throughout future instalments, making Gui-Zhang unnecessary clutter, but that's not to say that they won't be in touch in some other way.

As for the fourth leader of the Chi-You Men, I thought it was already established that it was some old guy called Tentei or summat...

Maybe Zhu killed Zhao and blamed Iwao since it was him who gave the mirrors to Ryo's father to bring them to Japan.

Tentei is a different boss than the 4 Chi You Men leaders who protect the 4 cardinal points. Tentei is the boss of the (four) bosses. Tentei is in the center (all the others are in the four directions). The leader of the North, which being represent of the Black Tortoise, is unknown, yet.

In that case, they shouldn't be called the four leaders. Fucking con artists...

Yu Suzuki said Tentei was the "boss of bosses". The interview is in Shenmue Dojo's Youtube channel.
