I suspect it's just one of those rumors. Someone want's some attention.
Might very much be possible that Yu Suzuki showed some Shenmue III material as he sure has something floating around, though it's strange why he would show it to some random dude all of a sudden.

Maybe, just maybe Yu is planning to reveal Dreamcast era concept art and beta footage of Shenmue III in order to spark more interest in making the game... But I suspect it turns out to be nothing all over again.

Yeah. David somehow managed to arrange a interview with Yu Suzuki during TGS. He booked a empty room at some place near the show. He's able to speak directly with Yu Suzuki because he knows how to communicate in Japanese.

His interview is real. He is not craving attention.
It was planned and some of us knew about it before it even got confirmed.
Dave is a respected member in the community although he doesnt post here much.

I said that Yu Suzuki showed me artworks of characters that you will meet while playing shenmue III but never said that it would be released anytime soon or that its even planned at all. Title is misleading and quite wrong. If someone know the admin, it would be nice to change it.
