Last year he posted a picture of himself back in the studio;

He couldn't explain what it was for, but did say;

“The picture of me back in studio is a recent picture, in fact very recent, but with non-disclosure agreements, I cannot reveal what project I’m working on,” he said. “I can say, however, I’m not working on Shenmue 3. I’m saying right now, it’s not 3, so please don’t freak out too much.”

I know some of you guys have him on facebook/twitter - has he mentioned anything else about the project at all recently?

Sounds like a re release of Shenmue 1 + 2... Im not sure how likely that is but if that happened, it would be amazing. Show the new generation what this game is all about.

I believe it may have already been explained... I forget, but it might have been more dialog for Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Transformed.

I didnt think there was an additional voice acting for Ryo on the Sonic games. Could be wrong.

I didn't think Ryo was in the latest SSASRT game?

Would be a bit of a let down if that was the case. I was hoping for maybe a rerecording of Shenmue 1/2 dialogue or something. The fact that there's a non-disclosure agreement suggests that (a) the project is not common knowledge (b) important. Also, he specifically said "it's not 3,", which of course doesn't rule out the other two ...

Corey is very very active on Facebook. I do not think that photo was shenmue main-games related.
