Posted: Sun Jun 21, 2015 6:47 amFor some reason this kind of drop seems to happen every time we're about to make a stretch goal. I remember around 3.2M it was the same. We had already made it past the stretch goal by 2 or 3 thousand $ and then it dropped by almost 10 thousand.

Posted: Sun Jun 21, 2015 6:54 amIt's extremely irritating to see it drop like that, but I'd rather people gave honest pledges rather than pledge what they don't have. Or it could be that a spouse has seen their donation and gone ape shit.

Posted: Sun Jun 21, 2015 8:25 amHow did we lose 40k, when the dinner is 10k? 30k is alot of backers "backing" out...I don't understand how this could be, unless something negatively hit the campaign, but I thought everything was turning more good than bad now we'll all working at finding ways to help boost the cause.

Best case scenario is that they've told a few people that they'll be offering a PayPal option post-Kickstarter, so they've backed out and will re-donate afterwards. Less money goes to Kickstarter that way, meaning YSNet take a bigger chunk.
I might be wrong though, I can't remember if they take a percentage or a flat rate based on monetary milestones.

Posted: Sun Jun 21, 2015 10:09 amKickstarter takes 5 or even 10% of the total. Forgot how much it is exactly, but it is a percentage which has nothing to do with the stretch goals.
