Anyway... Back on topic.

For existing fans the must have would be to transfer save files- we could live without some other improvements surely?

I think they're more important for gamers new to the series though- especially save anywhere/skip time.

Personally I feel having to kill time and only save at the hazuki residence in S1 added to the uniqueness of Shenmue so I'd like to be able to keep that in a 'classic' mode but have the option of a new mode that addresses them for others.
