If Sega should create modern incarnations of Shenmue 1 and 2, no matter how, I'd love to see taking over my savegame from Shenmue 1 to Shenmue 2 and from Shenmue 2 to Shenmue 3.
100% agree with this, if Yu could collaborate with Sega to make it happen it would be a HUGE selling point for the entire series. Do modern games even do something like that?
Anyway to the people saying that there's 100% gonna be save transfer to Shenmue 3, Yu Suzuki said in a interview that atm it's impossible.

We don't want Sega to fuck it up and we don't want a game that's going to cost them much to port. Let's keep it simple, an emulator-wrapped port to PC/PS4, that runs at 1080p (or more) in widescreen is really all we need. Basically nullDC but bug free.
(If they give the file format that they're using to Yu et al, they can make Shenmue 3 saves work with 1&2.)
Agree with the bolded, it's an essential rule if we want to make an impact with our suggestions, the features requested have to be simple to implement.
I don't agree with the second part tho, the gameplay is outdated and misses some features that all modern games have. If they release a straight port with HD graphics it will fail to attract new blood.
