The PC version has helped, and 7 million is very much possible if things play out right, ie. Good E3 showing, HD remasters, and a final date reveal and promotional push from the community to get it over the infamous 7 million line, pushing the "almost there" mentality.

$7 million could definitely happen by the end of the year if the Slacker Backer campaign stays open that long (which I guess is dependant on a delay), and if the totals keep snowballing each week like this.

The stretch goals don't really mean much anymore, but it'd be nice to round off the crowdfunding campaign on a big number like $7 mil.

A few crowd pleasing video updates/new screens will help, but appearing at a game show like E3 is probably what will drive a serious uptick in support so... roll on June.

I wonder what's changed? I'm sure tax refund season has a small hand in it. We shall see what the next two months bring in. I really think $7 million is reachable, especially by the end of the year, which is what they had said it'd most likely last til. It could go above that, depending on how strong the E3 reveal is.

March update, probably. Although the glimpses were fleeting, it's kind of the first real look at the game in action we've had, and seems to have quietly inspired a burst of confidence in the product from people who previously may have been fence-sitters.

There are still shit talkers about that update, but I think we're starting to see they're just a vocal minority.

That's true. Most of the backers go for the physical version... at least.

It's going to depend on how much money is left over after buying, marrying and how our spending gauge is going to be, but I'll be looking in to upgrading the 300 dollars tier to 500 if life permits it. We'll see, I'm already very satisfied with 2x physical, a trail version and a signed collectors edition. Guess I can't be too greedy =)
