I made this to help promote the final weeks, as well as the monthly #SaveShenmueHD campaign. Best I could do. I'm going to be more scarce on this forum but wanted to leave this here at least. Anyone think 7 million is possible with the winning can raffle and the expected uptick near to the end of the paypal?

It would be nice to get 2 more stretch goals and the AI Battling stretch goal seems interesting. Does Yu-San talk about the particulars of that stretch goal?

Maybe they will introduce the PC product and Kickstarter upgrades at Christmas time when people are spending their money on other things.

They don't seem to give a crap about this paypal campaign. They only put it up because it was somewhat demanded.
I Think it will see a big surge around christmas time until the new year but nowhere near the crazy values of the final stage of the kickstarter.

On a side note: by the end of the week it should have reached 100.000$, which probably isn't a bad number if you consider that the shenmue fan comunity has invested a lot in the kickstarter campaign, there has been no advertisiment and general gamers aren't just going to pre order a game 2 years in advance.

Which is the reason why I have not added more money to the campaign. If they had an upgrade option I would dump another 300 on it. Yu did say that this was going to be an option in the future right? I vaguely remember hearing about it.

We need some sort of dramatic boost. Like a charity stream event that sends half the proceeds to the PayPal and half to a charity. Perhaps even Shenmue-themed promotional items for online games you earn if you donate $30 to the PayPal. It will make a lot of newcomers pledge.

Just read that the late Kenji Eno's Enemy Zero for Sega Saturn had a limited edition of 20 copies that he hand-delivered for $2000 each, driving around Japan in a truck, then spending half an hour chatting with each person: http://www.1up.com/features/kenji-eno-b ... r.offset=5

I reckon in 2015 there must be at least 20 Japanese Shenmue fans who'd drop $2500+ for such an experience with Yu Suzuki, would also be a good publicity stunt.

I think the problem is to giving more Information for interested people and there are too few information's about Shenmue 3. Of course, we are in the very early stage of development, but it seems that the time is to short.
