Im Ricardo Martinez, editor in chief in Heroes de Papel, and editor of "La Odisea de Shenmue". We are so happy to see our book on this important forum! and with so enthusiastic comments!! Thanks a lot :)

Im going to try asnwering your doubts one by one... And you can ask whatever you want ;):

1. ENGLISH/FRENCH Editions: We would LOVE to see our book in other languages. Actually, is almost 100% sure our book is going to have a french version. We are working on it right now. Regarding English edition, we are in touch with some UK publisher, but we do not have an official deal with any of them. We are a tiny publisher here in Spain, so we simply can't afford an English edition... to get it, we have to make a deal with an English language publisher. But Im sure we'll achieve this target: is a matter of time, because Shenmue Fans are so enthusiastic with our book! ;)

2. Versions of the book: Red edition is NOT an overcover: it is a completely diferent version, sealed and numered (up to 500 copies only). This red version can be purchased only through our website and, sadly, shipping cost are expensive (it is a delicate item, and shipping cost here in Spain are expensive. Sorry about that!. Nevertheless, the white version (not numered, but exactly the same in contents) will be available this week on Amazon.es (http://www.amazon.es/Odisea-Shenmue-Car ... 8494288156) so if you are interested in the book there's no problem getting on it.

I think that's everything right now. When I have news about int versions of the book Ill let you know :)

If you have more questions, please just ask.

Thanks!!

hello, just wondering very much. how many books do you expect to sell in spain? and how many break even? Just wondering since I've been to spain and noticed when collecting that there is a huge market for sega prdocucts, larger even than uk in relative terms

@Yokosuka
Wow great, where was this photo taken?
Is this Spain's national sales ranking or just this particular store's ranking?

Not that Ready Player One isn't a good book, but it's strange to see it still in the charts. Has it just been translated into Spanish recently?

Got mine finally :)

It's the red edition.

I'm in chapter 2 and it seems very interesting.

Hi, I'm new in the fórum.

According to the book, I'm spanish and I have the red version of the book. I have read it all and I would recomend it for sure. Maybe all that is included isn't for you but it does a grea analisys of the game.

Tell us about the historical context, filosophical meanings of the story...

I think it is a must have for fans. If you can read spanish, don't wait to buy it!

Luis, gracias por el consejo. Es que estoy pensando en comprármelo de reagalo navideño. In addition to sounding like a very interesting read, it will remind me of Spain, where I lived and studied psychology for one year. IMHO, despite the current unfortunate state of the economy in Spain, nothing compares to el estilo de vida de España. Un saludo!

My copy arrived a few days ago. The whole book has a lot of heart for it. already read the Prologue by Cédric B., the good Introduction and i'm on the Chapter 1. About Yu Suzuki. It so good to read something like this. It has the whole thing about Mr. Suzuki; his life, his achievements, his innovations, etc. Real good reading!

Seems like Argentina is going to open tax customs for books.

Is a publisher here (or a bookstore that imports it) ?
