No! When III turns out to be amazing I need to gloat. Who do I gloat to if I don't keep track who doesn't like Shenmue?!

Hopefully the sausages were likeable and the apple followed some kind of progression!

I hear the progression is pretty shitty.

The update is either coming mid-month like the last one, or we're returning to end of the month updates. End of the month would give the dev team a bit more breathing room, so I'm hoping we get it later rather than sooner. I can't avoid sleep for that long.

I don't think we have another update this month, it's too soon after last one update so I'd say we may get another one in april.

What I was thinking is about digest videos of shenmue 1 & 2, it will be interesting seeing this videos with the old engine and then playing Shenmue 3 made with Unreal 4.

I'd be okay not seeing one either. Actually it seems the general vibe around the Dojo is that most of us would be okay with it, but as per the March update:

We apologize for the lapse and will do our best to bring you updates every month. It is beholden on us to keep you informed (without giving too much away of course!) and will do so as promised.

Not a guarantee, but the crazies on the KS comments will probably mass revolt if a month is missed again, so they'll likely get thrown a bone to chew on.

And they still won't be fucking satisfied.

Unfortunately, there will be tons of shit like the comments on the KS comments page in the future and until the release of Shenmue 3.

The reason is simple: There is (also) stupid/frustrated/ignorant people out there.

I just hope both AJ and YsNet are ready and prepared to deal with it and won't let the trolls distract them from their work.

Honestly, it makes me glad that Yu's initial intentions for an open development process didn't materialise. I can't imagine the result of the game being pulled in a million different directions by dickheads like Waves & co.

I was rewatching some Interviú vídeos with Suzuki, and particulary the first year anniversary video, and he said that he was thinking about including some flashback scenes from shenmue 1 & 2, i'm curious about those scenes and how they will look like with Unreal Engine now.

Sometimes I think we forget the people that are working with Suzuki in this game, there are many people from am2, Architects, music composers, and many other talented people that are searching for excellence.

Im very concerned about the idea of Yu having some of the backers face as Chi You Men member in the game. I never liked the idea actually and it may turn out into something very silly. What do you guys think?

Do not worry about is, in Shenmue 2 there are several people from the west in the yellowheads building, so it won't make so much difference. Besides, Suzuki will make their presence fit in the game.
