Honestly? It wouldn't really bother me if my name was somehow omitted and/or replaced with a generic title. I know where my money went and I know I backed the project as much as I financially could. I don't really need to see my name in a sea of thousands or prove to anyone else that I backed. At the end of the day... I just want the game.

I would love a timer in Shenmue Dojo but I failed to find a compatible one with the forum code.

Niao Sun: How did they find us?

Lan Di: She ain't talkin'.

Ziming: What about the girl's parents, the one still alive?

Lan Di: Her father is bleedin' to death in his cell, her mother's upstairs waiting to be tortured!

Lan Di: You ARE getting weak Ziming! This isn't some drug deal or selling a few missiles to a 3rd world country. These are major players man! The Russians, the Iranians, hell even the French want these things! Besides, the old man has already GOT a customer!

Lan Di: In the meantime, you make sure the girl and her pal are locked down tight! Ziming I think you're done here... why don't you head on over to the club and chill for a while? Niao and I are gonna smash some toes and get some answers and then we're gonna torch this place incase that boy scout Hazuki decides to show up!

From the Kickstarter update in April.

There have been many comments from Shenmue fans wanting the logo to match the original logos from Shenmue 1& 2. We have heard your calls and will of course put it on the to-do list. This particular issue will take some time, however, as game development is currently taking a front seat to other design issues. Designers and other parties will also need to be consulted with, so before we can give a more definite answer, we would ask you please give us some time.

I think it was pretty clear from what Ryan said that Yu conceded defeat on that battle, at least for the most part. Limited resources and budget just wouldn't work with those ambitions, and Yu likely knows that too. A balance between evolution of old systems and a big new feature like the Character Perspective System seems the best of both worlds in a lot of ways.
