Where you just want to scream out so loud in the street in excitement. Had to come home and put on the E3 2015 Sony conference with GT commentary. What a day. What a journey. Roll on 77 days!

I don't know where you got that information. They're still Tuesday. Tomorrow's is on a Tuesday:

Unless Japan is different, US is still Tuesday, Europe is still Wednesday.
Edit: Are you confusing PlayStation's update day with Nintendo's? Nintendo releases are Fridays, PlayStation releases have been on Tuesday for at least the last 5 years.

Ultimately his is just an opinion in a sea of others, and we really don't need it anyway considering every Shenmue fan got validated in liking it when Shenmue III broke Kickstarter records despite being a dead franchise for the better part of 20 years.
Shenmue fans have had to eat a lot of shit from people who didn't like the game, and even spitefully tried to tell us that we shouldn't want it, or we'll never get it.
But y'know, we persevered, and even though there are still attempts to bring us and the series down despite finally getting Shenmue III, this community can hold its own and promote the series positively to cut through the bullshit and reach the people who the game will strike a chord with.
I wrote a longer post than this as a genuine rebuttal to his points (as some of them are pretty dumb, IMO), but it doesn't really matter, because he doesn't really matter to us.

Maybe the guy genuinely loved the games at the time and now playing them back after E3 2015 he doesn't find them appealing anymore. It happens, as it takes an acquired taste and an observant player to look past nostalgia and appreciate the brilliance of its game design and mechanics. To those with keen eyes, within the games there are even the so called emergent narratives that so many gamers nowadays tout about.
In the end one old fan flips out but by the time Shenmue 3 comes out, we will hope to see an entire new generation of gamers turn fans.
