Poll: Which platform will you be playing Shenmue III on?

I can't understand why people actually bother playing games these days when you can just sit back and watch a nice let's play.

Shenmue I, II and III is an experience, not only a cheap "lets play video" ;)

Wait a minute.... I've played Shenmue 1 and 2 and what i mean by that is I've watched an entire let's play for both games all the way through

I literally never missed a single moment of the game! What difference did it make that I wasn't technically "controlling" the game?

On PS4 for me I never play games on PC. When Shenmue 3 comes out I won't go outside until I beat the game.

Your initial image was more convincing but yeah 21:9 is a fantastic format. Still a bit perplex about the prices for a +32" TV/monitor.

Since I got what I believe is a suitable PC, my goal is now to find a new TV and a quality 5.1 system sound. Don't know what I could buy more. I've also a haptic seat to feel localized vibrations in my back and legs (usually such as explosions, gun fires, hit impacts or heavy object interactions) but I don't expect it to be a game changer in Shenmue.

The PS4 that I'll be buying with a copy of the game on release day.

I'm buying it together with the console to boost its attach rate, in my own small way. If enough people happen to do the same, it will increase Shenmue's value in the eyes of Sony.

Can't remember. I reckon I might've gone for the PS4 option with the idea of buying it on Steam then selling the unopened copy somewhere down the line when my habit's got out of hand n can't afford anymore ket.

I will play the game on my PS4. Thats the reason why I bought a PS4 and not a XBox One ;)

Going with both for completenesses sake and to show support, but I think PC will be primary platform. Graphics/mod potential give it legs. Having said that Shenmue is classically a console experience.....i think I will enjoy both!

I actually bought a PS4 in response to this game being announced. I have always been a console gamer but had not yet been convinced to purchase a current generation console until this game was revealed. More than happy to buy a PS4 and support Sony for helping to bring this franchise back to life.

Plus I don't have, and don't plan to have, a PC capable of smoothly running this game upon release. Maybe in a few years I'll revisit the game on PC and enjoy the custom content that the community creates.

I backed the PS4 version in the Kickstarter campaign. At the time I was already planning on getting a PS4 but wasn't sure when I'd upgrade my PC. Now I have both a PS4 and a new PC, so I might also buy a copy of the PC version down the road, just to support Shenmue further.

I actually own a 21:9 monitor. WARNING! A lot of games do not support 21:9. Not even big AAA games. I would not be surprised at all if Shenmue 3 does not support this.
