Might be worth asking Cedric about it. We saw they're developing in 16:9 from the KS video last month, but I wouldn't say it's off the table.

Own nothing but a pc, so yeah...

PS4 no doubt. pc has never been a thing that has appeal to me and i also don't want to have any obscure crashes or glitches on my first s3 walkthrough.... so console it is. One plus that pc is gonna have is mods and probably xbox controller support which has the same icons as the Dreamcast. (ABXY) so that will make it easier for us when it comes to QTEs but it's not enough of a reason for me to go and do all of the complex pc setting up.

I pledged for the physical copy for PS4. I want to seat back and to enjoy Shenmue like in 1999 and 2002 when Shenmue I and Shenmue II came out.

Even though i'm gonna have like multiple copies for each platform, I can't wait to just sit down and play it on the console experience! I know you can hook up a console controller to the PC, but still won't feel really right to me

Someone already asked the 21:9 question to Cedric a long time ago. If I remember well, he appreciated the idea as he's in charge of the PC port.

Does the PS4 support interlaced scan? Even the best 4:3 CRT's ever made are only 480i.

Edit: It seems it does, but obviously you have to convert the HDMI out down to something like component, S-video, SCART, etc.

PS4 version for me first. Maybe I'll buy the PC (Steam) version later.

Will be buying a PS4 PRO, just for this game, in about a year's time. Just in case this game is in 4K. Thinks about it...*drools*
