Expectations for Shenmue and 2017?

I'm expecting neat stuff for Shenmue III once we get deeper into 2017 and YSnet have had like 6+ months of full production. It'd be nice to see a repeat of early 2016 where we get new screens at the MAGIC Monaco press conference (Jan 12th), and then new screens + video at the MAGIC Monaco event itself in mid-February (18th?), but nothing is confirmed on either fronts right now.

I'm sure the thing we're all expecting is a delay... but for the moment it seems full steam ahead for December 2017. If they haven't announced one already, I guess not even YSnet know if the title will slip just yet.

- In a batch of new PC ports, Sega will tease Shenmue HD: coming soon
- Jurgen Post will say (about Shenmue HD): we are working hard !
- A beautiful trailer at E3

I'm expecting some tangible footage by around E3. Maybe an actual demonstration of a build. If I get any more than that, I'll be more than happy. If that's all we get, I'm cool with a Shen 3 delay if it makes the game better.

My predictions:

- I think we're gonna see a video showing various environment at MAGIC.
- Trial Version will be delayed.
- Trailer showing snippits of various game mechanics and features will debut at E3.
- Game itself will be delayed to 2018, to no one's surprise

I don't think the game will be delayed but I could be wrong I guess we will have to wait and see they still said it's coming out in December 2017!

same predictions here with the trail ready for upcoming summer/fall seasons and the game release between June/Aug 2018 max.

Seems a wise and responsible approach to take in light of PSX - so we shouldn't expect anything.

It doesn't seem like Yu is attending MAGIC this year either, unless he's a last minute guest. I remember seeing Cedric say Shenmue III would be there in some form, however. We'll see how that develops.

Want: EVERYTHING lol.

Expectation: Delay, gameplay, people to be taken by surprise by just how good it already looks, and more substantial updates. (I really do have this weird feeling when they show it again it'll surprise ppl.)
