At best, we're hoping for a small, last minute surprise that will comprise a fraction of a larger panel.

Even if nothing happens, we'll be only 10 days away from the end of the month where (presumably) regular updates resume.

Although I think it would be kind of unfair to backers if they did show something without announcing it ahead of time like they did last year, technically Cedric is the largest backer so he has the right to withhold that information for his event. At this point the only thing I'm expecting is them to mention it when they give a status update on Shibuya productions. I know you say you're "hoping" but please don't be disappointed if nothing happens.

If you're bored tomorrow, SpaceX is launching and landing a rocket at 3PM GMT tomorrow on live stream. Those are always interesting to watch.

Oh, absolutely. That's why I bolded a similar statement to the same effect in the OP. Anybody upset or disappointed at a lack of a showing hasn't been paying attention.

But all the same, the rumblings say the door is open for a small surprise at YSnet's discretion. Right now, the speculation is just on trying to find which particular way that wind is blowing, but there's no smoking gun. Although by that metric, we had plenty of "smoking guns" for PSX, which didn't pan out. It's a crapshoot.

The more I think about it, the more I think it would be a bit strange if Shenmue III was a no show, in all honesty. Especially after last year. At the very least, I'd expect a small discussion on it.

I'm sure it will be there! Maybe a Kickstarter update as well? Because I contacted YS Net on Kickstarter and they said if it is there they will do a Kickstarter update!

It will probably "show" as a part of Shibuya Productions' slate no matter what, so it won't be conspicuously absent, but all that would amount to is a bit of lip service to the project and throwing up the logo on a PowerPoint.

But yeah, even Cedric talking about the project briefly might give us something to chew on.

It seems Tetsuya Nomura brought new Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake screens, so Famitsu's actual presence at MAGIC is now explained.

We'll see how the rest of the day pans out.

It's late in Japan, and nothing has been added to the directory. Chances of new Shenmue III material are now slim to none, IMO.

Remember to check out Peter's Shenmue Undub stream, though. It's going live a little later than planned, from 1PM GMT.

Last year they had something called crazy time at 4 or 5 I can't remember, but it was Yu showing off the recreated Shenhua home.

I let suprise me tomorrow and i watch in the morning this Forum first. I don't believe there will be something Shenmue-3-related. It's okay. The year is young and the E3 will coming.
