This article is purely speculatory, especially considering Shenmue's history as both DC and Xbox. Obviously, the writer is a fan of the series.

There isn't much, if any, substance to corroborate his assumption that it is Shenmue HD. I suppose now that, being on Sony stage and their hand in marketing, Shenmue COULD arguably be seen as a PlayStation series now.

Couple that with the enthusatic support from fans(the masses), I can see why the extrapolation was made by the writer.

Are they truly the ones behind it? Their name has been mentioned before in regards to potentials for the remasters. May is coming and with it the swirling E3 Rumor Mill.

Keep your eyes open.
