Here is another unclear point or common misconception that people talk about and ask questions about... will Shenmue end with III? What has Suzuki said about how many more games he needs/wants to conclude the saga? I recall he made a comment that five would be nice. It was sort of an off-the-cuff remark and he also said that having more money would be good, which got misconstrued by haters. I also seem to recall him saying at some point that if Shenmue III is not successful enough to pave the way for further sequels, he would look into concluding the story in some other medium.

I am thinking that even if gameplay is not ready, even some teaser trailer or another concept trailer would be better than nothing. It would be a shame if this game entered development hell but to be honest, I guess it already has been for the past decade.
