Don't forget, the exact same thing happened before PSX and nothing was shown.

The same logic also applies here, as to why Gio would post this specific picture out of all the developers he would have met on his pre E3 Japan trip. This is just spoiling what could be a massive secret for their E3 conference so why spoil it? Unless it's not a spoiler, and there will be no Shenmue 3 on the Sony stage....


(There are far many more positives and logical arguments that Shenmue WILL be at E3, so by all means, talk about them. I'm just fact checking and keeping a level head this time around lol)

I thought the same as soon as I saw this tweet of Gio Corsi...

Maybe it's just that, a meeting with a friend to talk about games, but, knowing that the E3 is around the corner and how the shenmue fans need good news about Shenmue HD and Shenmue 3, it would be cruel to share pictures with Suzuki and Shenmue 1 If they weren't going to show anything at E3...

I hope this is really good news and this E3 bring us magic moments like in 2015.

No doubts for me that those Japanese trips before E3 or PSX are business trips for Gio.

It makes sense of course that Gio pays a visit to Suzuki-San while in Tokyo.
Just to say "hi" and check the progress on Shenmue 3 development in the first place.

This tweet doesn't mean anything more or less compared to the one posted by Peter and it's a fact that PSX was a no show for Shenmue 3.

Nothing to get hyped for per se... it's just the pose, the words, the context with rumors and everything that resonates differently to me. But then again, I'm having far too high expectations and I'm giving too much space to my "guts" feelings here.

Yep, about a week later more or less. That seemed to be just a check-in with possibly a project update for Sony.

While caution is still advised about getting hyped over a Tweet, the timing is a lot different now, and the message itself is knowingly coy in a way Gio's other Tweets about meeting Yu haven't been before.
