Press conferences usually happen before the show opens for real, kinda like E3 and maybe TGS too, but it's been a while since I even paid attention to TGS so I'm not totally sure.

Gamescom opens on the 22nd for the press, and then for the public on the 23rd.

Just got word this morning that the Dojo will not be given an interview with Yu Suzuki at Gamescom. The only interview allowed was with the Shenmuemaster site. There isn't enough time apparently.

That's disappointing. Using Twitter as a baseline: Dojo - 6,000 followers, Shenmue Master - 800 followers.

Could you contact Shenmue Master to see if you could jump on their interview?

As nice as it would be to get the interview, trying to bigshot the Dojo into one is probably not going to work and might just cause some animosity with sister sites like Shenmue Master.

As an aside, I got a reply on Kickstarter about a question I asked like... maybe last month(?) about release plans for stuff shown at Gamescom.

As for anything released at gamescom, it will be made immediately available for the public. No worries there!

Shenmue Master is a known reference for local medias. Not sure about the Dojo.

]It's no big deal. It was never a guarantee in the first place.

Hopefully early tomorrow should be the first signs of news and info coming out of Gamescom since it's the business day.

Well the Japanese really like the French and vice versa so they got an instant bonus. And since Yu was there a bunch of times they got all the interviews. Makes sense, but sad to hear that, Peter. Hope there will be chances to at least get in a little question somewhere.
