Well, unless it's cancelled.
I would like SEGA to seriously consider doing the following: the last two appropriate game shows are coming up and they should take this opportunity, two full years after the release of Shenmue II to make an announcement. That they hate Shenmue; that they've always hated Shenmue; that they never had the slightest intention of making Shenmue III and they certainly aren't going to start now; and that the Shenmue franchise is hereby cancelled.
Then maybe we can all go home and get on with the rest of our lives.
I realise now that LanDC is right - it's the continued silence which drives us all mad! What's more it's discourteous and downright bad treatment of the fans. Maybe sales weren't so good, but as fans go the Shenmue ones are all die-hards. Look how much activity is still found here, months after the US release of IIx - only things like GTA and MGS get this kind of attention and continued playing.
