Shenmue Dojo

What will it be like? the internet in general. Shenmue 3 will be talked about everywhere such as information about the game, story info (spoilers), review threads and impressions. Will you still be using the internet and browse this forum for Shenmue 3 at all or avoid it will be such an exciting time for sure. I am still going to use Shenmue Dojo and other places when it arrives but I would avoid YouTube and potential spoilers online.

I don't even use the internet for shenmue related info now. After having a few things spoiled through interviews that I woul have rather discovered while playing I decided to stop following most updates and news.

nah you know when it comes it we willprobably be the first ones playing it. unless u go physical. but im not really in love wth the material thing so. i mean the digital purchaser will no doubt be the firzst ones to play it. so no spoilers there

I can see spoiler trolls in the Dojo when Shenmue 3 releases.

I still haven’t played Shenmue 2 and haven’t seen any spoilers so I’m not afraid about getting on the internet for when Shenmue 3 releases

Play the game before you get spoiled.

Spare a thought for the mods who will have the story ruined for them while having to delete or correctly tag spoilers

Maybe the forum should be locked down for like a week or something to give everyone the chance to play through spoiler free?

Too many have waited for too long for this one. Why not just lock the entire forums for a week?

Uh, I don't really think that's a practical idea. For one thing, there will be people who do want to discuss the game as they play through it. For another thing, who's to say one week is the ideal amount of time? Everyone's expected to rush through the entire game in a week? What if someone has some real life situation come up and they can't play it at all during the first week? Then are they going to complain that the 'lockdown' time didn't match their personal requirements?

The fact is, people will have to take responsibility for their own self-control in avoiding spoilers.

Oh no no no, when I get Shenmue 3 I'm disappearing into deep deep Shenmue dungeon mode, I'm talking total 4chan bedroom neet, neckbeard battlestation, order food in, pee in a bottle and don't shower- just play play play non-stop Shenmue until I hallucinate!

THEN, I'll be ready for full blown Shenmue forum nerd mode.
