Great interview with a lot of very thoughtful questions. In particular I appreciate the information on how Yu Suzuki will handle the pacing and the balance between elements that advance the story, and additional aspects that are more like side activities that won't move the story along but will enhance the atmosphere. I'm also more and more curious about the new free battle system as it sounds intriguing to think of fighting in all directions. I almost wonder if there will be some kind of slow-motion aspect to it, but that's purely my own imagining and not based on anything specific Yu Suzuki said.

Loved the questions, but the answers realating to the game were too general answered, except the perspective system (that he said it'll be one event), and that we won't see "miao people" and was just a part of the inspiration.

The answer to the eagle question was also pretty good.

Great interview I loved it. I'm still hoping to see a good update by Christmas or the end of the month.

It's odd to use Miao people as a inspiration for a village exclusively inhabited by Han Chinese. I guess the problem is Guangxi, the region Guilin located in, is not stereotypically Chinese, about 40% of its population are minorities. The developers are only interested in exploring Han Chinese culture, yet still want to make Guangxi feel like Guangxi at least superficially.
