With maybe some clips of gameplay just to establish a baseline to non Shenmue fans of what they can expect. and maybe include one fight scene though that may be asking to much.
Either way even more pumped for Feb and I didn't think that was even possible.

Wait, Shenhua's model is final? I'm not feeling very confident about it (it's only been a few months since the Gamescom teaser so I'm not sure how they got it done so soon). I really, really, REALLY hope she looks like the epic promo model (I'm sure everyone knows which one I mean!). Otherwise, I'll be sad because I'll always be wondering how amazing it could have been to see that model in action!

I could be wrong but the thought of something so integral to the game as the battle system still not having a concrete concept is concerning.

Whilst I also wish the logo would go, I don’t think that’s possible. Legally, there’s a reason for Yu Suzuki not choosing the original logo; it could have something to do with the partnership with Deep Silver. Or the possibility of Shenmue HD from Sega.
So many people have made it clear that they prefer the original logo; I doubt he’s ignoring us. I just don’t think he can.

Personally feeling very positive after this interview as there seems to be a good amount of progress if voice acting work is due, also he said that many of the character models given by new partner had impact and character encouraging more scenes to be added. Also Yu Suzuki has been saying that with the partners support he is making the game bigger than he originally planned which is great.
Yu Suzuki said that Shenhua & Ryo were like his "life work" and they are always being worked on so until game release will likely continue to improve, I also think facial and movement animation will increase there presence quite a bit in game over images once added unlike the trailer.
Regarding combat he has yet to show any kind of concrete mechanics so it can be taken any number of ways, way too early cast judgement yet, read some Youtube comments getting annoyed that no scroll or skill upgrade system would come as a result of this which is just stupid, no reason why there can't be unlockable moves with this approach and probably highly likely seeing as one of the Kickstarter rewards is a scroll for exclusive move...
The updates are only negative if you choose to see them that way.
