Hopefully it comes on Steam for multiple reasons. Dependable for new games, they have yearly sales and they allow for modding with their Workshop, provided the developers allow for it. That means that even if you can not afford it at full price, eventually you will when it goes on sale. It also means you will know when your other Steam mates are on and share and download mods for it from the Workshop and even create your own. You could add the Japanese rotary phones from the first game if you wanted for no other reason but to have them or play co-op, when you have played the single player repeatedly. To be honest the possibilities are endless on Steam.
