I want Suzuki-san to make many more games in the Shenmue saga.

This is what I would like to see

Shenmue I - Chapter 1 (DC)
Shenmue II - Chapters 2, 3, 4 (DC/XBox)
Shenmue III - Chapters 5, 6, 7, 8 (XBox 2)
Shenmue IV - Chapters 9, 10, 11, 12, (Xbox 2)
Shenmue V - Chapters - 13, 14, 15, 16 (XBox3)

I seriously dont want the story to end at 3 and something like the above would be my preference.

i didn't know that. I assumed (wrongly) that each chapter was everytime you visited a new place.

I was just thinking. Has anyone else noticed that the third game in a series is always the best by far. Think about it Mario 3, Zelda 3, Megaman 3, GTA 3, final fantasy 3 (imo), and several other less famous ones. Eh, sorry for the stupid post, i just thought that was kinda interesting.

I just hope if chapters are emitted, they are summarized (Or made into a short anmie script) so we know what went on.

It's such a shame Yu's inital vision will probaly never come to fruitation :(

First of all, we're now at Chapter 6, not Chapter 4. Shin Ishikawa showed the chapter division back when he thought he was going to make the game this year (2003). It didn't pan out that way, but already they were looking to "lose" chapters, so Shenmue II's 3 chapters became 4 (one for each DC disk, if you like) and a mythical Chapter 2 was inserted which was the adventure on the boat.

If the game is going to be completed in III, it has to be cut down.

I red this interview what The Intruder posted about Shenmue 3. One of the guys said, "We are working on Shenmue 3, it's going to be a long and hard one" I think it should just be fine there, but i think any Shemmue fan would want Shenmue to keep going.

I understand what he mean.. We wont be quizing r selfs wondering about the end or coming up with Ideas where Ryo will be next. But then again we will have complete the saga in its 2 disc set that its going to come in...

Strange attitude, whiteShadow! This breakdown of reporter's was very much what I thought would happen in the first instance - in fact I posted a similar breakdown on the old forums once.

I don't believe it will happen this way anymore, but like reporter said, "something like the above would be my preference."
