However every once in awhile a rumour surfaces that is just so unbelievable, it borders on hilarity. The latest suggests that Microsoft Game Studios has taken over development of ‘Shenmue 3’, with none other then the charismatic Ed Fries overseeing the project.

The rumour goes on to claim that Yu Suzuki will assist on the project and provide the storyline details and a screenplay written by him to conclude the epic saga.

Hey im not asking you to believe it my source is there and i posted a link...search shenmue 3 and u will find this new article.......i myself find it to be a false rumor..but never say never and i believe shenmue 3 will be released sooner or later

As I mentioned earlier, the news probably got mixed up whilst travelling through the grapewine.

The most likely scenario is that Microsoft is financing the development of the game whilst the actuall development will be handled by Digital Rex themselves.

to be completly honest i think this is a whole load of crap :x Why do people have to make up such rumors and get our hopes up!? I guess they have nothing else better to do :(
