I'm into card games (magic, net runner, et cetera) but I'm really not into paying a lot of money for them -- which is why I haven't purchased a booster pack for magic since I was in eighth grade. I still find the game to be damn fun, my buddies and I still booster draft on occasion and any cards we get in the packs we sell online. More often than not we end up making more money than we spent to play for the night. Anyway, I'm rambling.
I found this online:
.hack//enemy: a card game based off of the anime series and video games. Best part is that a booster box was online $8 -- so I spent $18 for the booster box and two starter decks and my buddy and I have been playing and building decks the past couple of days. The game is surprisingly fun -- sometimes these lesser known TCG's are a real gamble as far as playability/fun factor goes.
My friend and I are considering going half and half on some of the expansion set booster boxes -- it's really not much of a commitment to my wallet either.
Plus .hack is cool.
