^^Funny, he was my favorite as a kid too.
Yeah, just read the news. Didn't realize he was 69. Older than I thought, but still too young for someone like that to go anyway, you ask me.
Most of his directing efforts couldn't exactly be called classics, but I can honestly say I never saw a movie from him that I disliked. He seemed to have a really fun sense for comedy. Even if a movie wasn't necessarily laugh-out-loud the whole time, it was still fun to watch.
