Yep, it does. And it probably won't last more than a couple of seasons, but it's good to see some of DC's B-Listers getting some attention.

So is it going to have like a ton of teenaged angst serious business kid issues like Smallville? I hope not. I remember watching the Flash when I was a kid and it was a show even my mother enjoyed watching with me. And I think Mark Hamill was in it so that was a plus.

See, this is the kind of cheesiness I was dreading that Gotham would have (but was pleasantly surprised to see it absent). This is the kind of lame, teen-focused junk that I expect from the CW. And it's a goddamn shame too, because it seems like they have some nice little moments for when he's first discovering his powers and all that. That stuff can be cool. The Flash is a great character in the comics, and he was a highlight in the Justice League cartoon. But the bad effects, terrible dialogue, and overwhelming "teenage" feel of this show is just too much.

Good fucking god, that's the kind of awful, face-palmingly shitty voiceover you imagine being cool when you're ten, but quickly realize is utterly stupid as you get older. How is it that someone has actually gotten paid to write shit like this?

I remember Flash in the JL cartoon being the comic relief. I can believe he's more three dimensional in the comics and I also believe he can be like...well, not this.

I know there's only so much you can do with a guy whose only power involves moving real fast but c'mon...

There's actually a lot more that you can do with it than you'd think. They created a whole mythology about the Speed Force and all that, plus there are some really cool dangers and applications for simply moving fast. One of my favorites is something that Impulse was able to do in the comics, where he vibrates his own body so fast that his molecules are able to squeeze between the molecules of other solid objects; basically, he could walk through walls. There are tons of cool little things like that in the comics.
