Jesus Christ, I just had a terrible nightmare.

I was in one of those rest stops on the highway in the dead middle of the night and was coming to the lobby when I saw one of those posters for one of those indie movies based on a true story. The poster's title was just a license plate with a black and white photo of seedy looking man and woman staring back at me.

I look it up and I see this yahoo answers or Snopes thing (I think it was Snopes) and it was about a "true story" of a person who received that same license plate for their car and they knew "something was wrong with it" like they had trouble registering it. Turns out someone in the answers looked it up and that license plate was last registered back in the 1950s and it belonged to a car that was submerged underwater with a dead hooker in it.

Typical story but then they proceeded to show crime pictures pictures of the car with the trunk popped open and it was a half-decomposed skeleton with an open eye staring back at me. Then a "flashback" plays it tells me about this prostitute, how it was a post-op tranny who was this "horribly diseased" Jocelyn Wildenstein looking person who realized she was going to die soon and always wanted to become a veterinarian. Although poorly educated, the vets decided to take her in as a caretaker especially in her final years.

She decided to take one more job on the streets when she was placed in a trunk and had the car dunked in a lake or something. The license plate became dormant until it was recovered recently and given to its new owner (not sure how that works but that's how it went). Realizing I was in the same area that all this shit happened, I ran to my car and quickly started the engine before I noticed people outside staring at me. I tried starting the car and getting out of there then I woke up.

MOTHER OF GOD, THE STARING IS WHAT GOT TO ME.

EDIT: AND I JUST CAME BACK IN MY ROOM AFTER GETTING A GLASS OF WATER AND MY BLACK DOG WAS LAYING ON MY BLACK BED SHEETS TOTALLY SCARING THE SHIT OUT OF ME. GOOD GOD I NEED TO GET A GRIP.

Damn that does seem pretty freaky if it happened to me. Time to get rid of your car, dog and move to North Dakota.

Imagine I did that and the dream ended up coming true? Man, that'd be freaky shit.

Reflections is a book about the making of the show that came out earlier this year.

We also know that David Lynch has been attempting to locate Everett McGill, who retired from public life to somewhere in Arizona. He was one of the only cast members the author of Reflections was unable to locate.

The Entire Mystery Blu-ray release happened just a few months ago, so that’s not what they’re tweeting about today. Now with David Lynch recently hinting at a return to Twin Peaks (“Just wait and see!” ) and rekindling with Everett “Big Ed” McGill, could a revival finally be fact instead of rumor?
Let’s reprise what Ray Wise said earlier this year about returning to Twin Peaks 25 years later:
They wouldn’t remake it. If anything was done, it would be 25 years later. It would never be a remake of anything we already did. Maybe you just didn’t mean to use that word, I don’t know. A remake, no, but it would be something new and fresh. David always said the town of “Twin Peaks” is still there; it’s still going on whether we watch it or not. So, who knows what’ll happen in the future? It would be 25 years later, not anything remade. Does that answer your question?
