Amen to that. The colours! Even made the relatively grey original Shenmue nicely saturated and bright.

I don't like it (along with most post-processing effects), but to each their own.

Damn this is amazing!

I think he should re-do the ending once we get proper finished Shenmue 3 footage next month.

i have a feeling even an official hd collection wont look as good as this, color wise, the editing and color correction is phenomenal :)

Everyone else has already said how wonderful this looks, all I can do is agree with you there. It was very well done.

Is the footage at 60fps because it was sped up, or is it just the quick cuts that make it seem so fast? I know they can use tools like SVP to make 30fps video into 60fps by interpolating frames, but I'm wondering if that was done here or not.

I know he's sped stuff up in the past, but in this case it would be best to compare the footage to something unaltered.

I can tell you for certain that the beginning part with the segments from Shenmue I's opening is sped up. I'm sure I've seen that cutscene at least 30 times now after working on my Shenmue: The Movie remake. Every frame, note, and word is burned into my head.

It's definitely interpolation.

Don't you confuse ghosting with native blur? The quality seems too high for being interpolation. Isn't possible to slower the emulator speed to increase the number of frames?
