Brits?? Really? I'm British and have yet to meet a single other Briton who doesn't know at least a little bit about WW2. And to be fair, I would imagine that if you asked half or America about it they would say "We won the god damn war and saved the day, as usual!" And while it is a commonly held belief that America's late participation was the defining factor which swung the war into the allies favour, I'm not sure it's entirely accurate one, from my understanding.
