Gaming has grown a lot over the past 40 years but it's still mostly Macho men (modern example is Gears) and women still have EEE sized tits with a thread covering them. Few female lead characters not used for a sexual symbol or in danger of being raped or in distress or titty Mgee. Jade from Beyond Good and Evil and MIrrors Edge are great example of how to do it right.

That reminds me of when I was in college. Instead of requiring students to read a book that had become the standard in the field, professors wrote their own and required all of their students to buy it. Most of them also changed a couple minor details here or there each year as well so you could not sell your book back to the bookstore for a portion what you paid at the start of the class year any more than new students could pay a little less for a used one. Buying a new edition for $100+ every year was the only way. It almost felt like a scam.
