Just started playing Rocket League....and god damn is it good. So simple and easy to pickup but it is pretty complex when you start digging into the strategy and tactics you can apply. The 5 minute matches are great too if you just want to play here and there.

I've just started playing Ecco The Dolphin again, the Mega Drive version via Sega Smash Pack, never managed to beat the game. I remember back when everyone was hyped for the release, it was like Call Of Duty back in the days. Such an odd game that people found strange, nobody knew why it was good at the time and what your supposed to do. I absolutely love this game and can see where the charm comes from. This game is really high in terms of depth and storyline. The PS2 version really ruined the series. The music is absolute perfection since its relaxing tunes makes me feel in a world of mystical sea creatures. I look forward to completing this insanely difficult classic.

don't have the retails to them...sadly. :sad:

(got the [no-intro] rom dumps on an mega-everdrive, so that takes the edge off nicely. :mrgreen:

dreamcast version was more or less the same, tom baker voices in it, added to it somewhat.
first time playing it, nearly bluffed up my dinner, bewildering at the start.
never did fully get through the game, too difficult.
may return to it after some backlogs?! :idea:

You'll have to get it anyway for SIII. I'm about to start playing Rocket League, too. My gamer friends are so hyped about how much fun it is, really made me curious. We could revive the toycapsules clan!

If he is playing on steam he may have a perfectly capable gaming PC that he can also play Shenmue 3 on.

Finally got around to downloading Steam a few weeks back. My brother's been hounding me about it for a while. Should have done this much earlier; my PC isn't quite as shitty for gaming as I'd thought, and it makes playing games with friends a breeze.
Picked up Payday 2 after watching my brother play it a bit. Absolutely loving it. I've never been very keen on deathmatch-style multiplayer stuff but co-op is always right up my alley, and this game is all about that. Addictive as hell, pulling off heists and trying to upgrade gear, abilities, and masks. It actually got me back in touch with my older brother too (haven't actually talked to him much in a while), and lets me interact with my best friend from highschool a lot more than I was before. It's hard keeping in touch with people that are far away, but it's much easier when you've all got a co-op game to obsess over. :brutal2:

Just finished a play through of the first Ninety Nine Nights. That final boss, King of Nights, is a royal pain in the proverbial every single time. I have Ninety Nine Nights 2 to start soon, I never got round to playing that so it will be interesting to see how it compares to the original.
