Grats, one of the cleaner MCS's around no doubt.

Event should be boss. Not a big Euro enthusiast outside of Ferrari myself (one day), but definitely respect the high quality brands. The new Bimmer is serious, I'm sure they'll have it there too. Id definitely go if I were in the area, very cool stuff.

What type of car is that on? Looks like some kinda S or RS Audi? Which'd be perfect for Umbrella Corp, actually...

Did it start snowing, then raining, about the time it went away, before running over a cat?

Running over a cat...hold on! Joka was driving Lan Di that day!

Cleaned out my intercooler today with some of this stuff.
Image

Safe on aluminum type.

Then when I went to put it back on it was totally on in the right direction, but the clamps werent on as strait as before. So when I drove it I felt like I was in limp mode and lost alot of power. I freaked out inside my mind for awhile until I adjusted it properly again. Running like a boss now.
Amazing how a few millimeters difference can mean the world sometimes with my small engine bay.
Otherwise besides that its all good.
Did a oil change aswell.
Normally it takes 5w-30 syn but decided to go for 5w-40 syn this time to see how that goes. Figured for summer time that might be better? Correct me if im wrong.

^I ain't gonna say you're wrong, but I only ever put in what the manufacturer says I should. NOT down to the brand though, just the viscosities. Going from 30 to 40 shouldn't be the end of the world though...
And yeah, that is pretty incredible how such a small adjustment to the IC made such a big difference. Do they make front-mount ICs for Cooper Ss?

Ya they do but its abit rare, expensive and hard to fit. Dont think it would fit with my current front bumper, which I love and dare not change. But im ok with the TMIC. Id get a newer, bigger one in the future but I think mine is fine atm. I like that the IC and hood scoop are positioned at the front of the car instead of towards the middle or back. The IC is also slanted abit towards the front aswell. So I also got an IC air diverter to capture all the air directly to the IC.

Whenever I do get out and touch it after a drive it feels abit cooler although still warm.
Last night I went out and the car felt great in the cool air.
These summer days however have been brutal.

Run Royal Purple synthetic 20w-50 in the summer. Royal Purple is expensive but helps the notorious lifter tick on our cars. Our lifters have a 1mm bore compared to the 3mm bore found only in the '99 models.

Shall be buying my first car within the next week[hopefully]
27 and until this year never felt the need to drive as i cycled just about everywhere. But round where i live most jobs suck unless you drive and im sick of being stuck when its chucking it down.

Plus after a few lessons i really got into driving so ive cracked on and got the theory out the way and have my test coming up

did like the Peugeot 206 but ive seen way too many around and 9/10 are driven by women.

Speaking as a non car person. Hate it when cars have been modified to have no ground clearance. Hit a pebble and takes out the bottom. Those things would be torn to shreds on roads in this town, not to mention IMO looks dumb.
