Interesting, I've never heard or knew about a Perry Rhodan adventure game. Have you played it? Is is any good? It looks like it could be pretty great from the limited (and lousy) research I just did.

^I haven't completed it. I have a vague memory of playing a demo, but if you search and there isn't one, I might have just played it for a bit...

I've never read anything P. Rhodan, but what I liked about it was the look of the game. It came out about the same time the first Mass Effect did, and it seemed to have that sort of sleekness to it...

From the major adventure game sites I usually check, it isn't a classic, but it got reasonable reviews. If you're a fan of Rhodan, I'd say go for it.

Plus, you know... an adventure game, you always get something from it, always a new setting, a new experience.

Has anyone played Chivalry: Medieval Warfare?

It's on sale on Steam right now and the idea of a medieval multiplayer first-person slasher sounds really fun.

Mine was also Golden Sun.Though I bought it myself instead of receiving it as a gift.Didn't think I would enjoy it so it was a shot in the dark.Bout an hour later I was hooked.

You know those games where you start in a limited area, and you start to think the entire game will be set in that area, and then "a door opens" and a huge world spreads itself before you?

I had first felt it with The Neverhood, but today I felt it again after all these years, with a similarly whimsical game, The Sea Will Claim Everything, where you pass about an hour inside a building with no windows and only a few floors, and then you finally open the door and you realise how much further you can go with it.

I am loving this, it really is a pretty little thing. And it has such an original and charismatic stamp and vibe, like the creators have been doing this for years (which they have, but not with this depth).

What a christmas gift this was, and only for 4 euro. Madness. Brilliant.
