I shouldn't be very excited for it cause i'll just overhype myself, but i'll be there day one in line to see it. Even more so now that Jackson (and most of the original team) is taking the helm. I'll probably watch the whole trilogy again before watching it.

I will probably do the opposite and watch this movie THEN watch the LOTR Trilogy, just so ya know, its chronological and stuff.

If people did that with Star Wars they'd probably never make it to the originals.

Hopefully The Hobbit will not suffer the same fate, looking like it will not. This trailer just makes me wanna wank so hard...

I'm sure the movies will be good but might not be at the same level of the previous trilogy.
The Hobbit is a weaker story (my opinion, anyway) than the Trilogy of The War of the Ring so that might not even be a surprise if it happens.
The Silmarillion, now that is what I call a good book (my fav Tolkien work, by far) and, if they would adapt it and do it right, could be a very interesting movie.
ThyDarkAngel wrote:^ -_- No comment.
I even said Silmarillion, another Tolkien work, is very good but... Whatever.
Worst labels than Sega fanboy, even if I don't fit the role. ;)
