random thought of the day.

i found out a kid i went to school with since middle school got hit by a car and killed this morning. i wasn't really friends with him, wasn't enemies, we just knew each other, went to school with each other.

i saw him a month or so ago at this bar called shenanigan's. i was hanging with my friend and we were drinking a pitcher of beer. i saw this kid in there, he walks up to us, does the whole 'aw man it has been a long time, how are you doin man?' conversation.

after a short conversation he went to go hang out with his friend he was there with.

in hindsight, even though we didn't really say much to each other over the years, i kind of wish i would have put forth the effort to have a worthwhile conversation instead of the basic how is the weather kind of talk.

good ol' hindsight.

Threatening others with suicide is the lamest shit ever, and you know why I can say it? Because I did in the past to my ex and that's the most disgusting thing in my life. I was beyond pathetic back then. Nobody has the right to bring things like this on others even in real life, let alone over the internet.

This is the age of martyrdom. People think that they should get something from others and that all the shit that's going down on them is so goddamn bad. Well, it doesn't work that way. We must learn to love ourselves like we've never known hurt before and stop relying on other people. If you find somebody who cares, then the better for you. Asking for it? It just breeds more problems for everybody.

I butchered up my second script, TECH, and started reconstructing it so its shorter and more to the point.

I didn't like it at first but now i'm quickly realizing it was a good idea to to this. The characters are now quickly defined and the story is moving along better. I still have more fat to trim, so finding what's necessary and what's not is top priority since this is the very next script to be circulated very soon.

I thought about it for a long time... I thought you were going for something deep with the "Image Not Found" thing, implying perhaps that we're all searching for each other, but too rarely do we find. So, we lose the ability to feel compassion, never really understanding each other, always seeing enemies where we should see friends, and the whole thing spirals out of control till our inner darkness puts out all the lights.

Then I checked the link, and it was supposed to be a gif from an Asian horror movie. All hail, king shit.
