First two are awesome. 3rd is ok and 4th is trash. Lethal Weapon is one of thos efilms should be required in film school how to make a perfect balance of drama comedy copy buddy great writing. Not to mention it could not have been cast any better. Also too bad he didn't see it before Mel actually did go crazy which makes the joke a bit less effective.

I actually really liked 4. I like that it actually carried on with developing the characters' lives, instead of finding some way of dropping them all back into the same old troubles they'd had before (which most "excess-of-three-movies" series end up doing). And bringing in an Asian flair with the villains was great. Story's solid, action was fun, humor's still ever-present. Maybe just me personally, but I see nothing wrong with it. Always felt like a great "ending" to the series, something which many action series back in the day never got to do.

It's funny, I only first got to see LW3 all the way through within the past year, I believe, and it was a great feeling. It's never regarded as the best of the bunch or anything, but seeing material from the series that I hadn't seen before was a treat in and of itself, considering how much I love the rest of the series.
It may not be new, but I hadn't seen it, so it was new to me.

4 just felt very very very tired. Everything felt forced in. Also a bit of it made no sense. It was an obvious cash in and felt like one. It went through the motions but nothing behind it felt like. It can be enjoyable to kill time but easily the worst in the series.

Never cared for Mel Gibson movies for some reason. Only after he went crazy is when he started to spark some interest.

Fun fact. I was told in the building where he works, he apparently loves to SCREAM by himself in the elevators. He shares the building with real estate people and they're so terrified of him due to that, they take the stairs instead. Or wait for the next elevator.

After getting my old camera dolly and tripod back, i've been contemplating a short film to do for good practice. Finally came up with an idea.

Not sure how i'm gonna do it, its gonna be ambitious, but I decided to do a short based on a complete shut-in who finds out when he concentrates real hard, he can "open his mind" and be able to bend reality to his will. Do things like levitate objects. The kicker is whenever these things happen, he does a double take--and finds things back to normal in a snap. The character is going to say everytime he finds a startling new revelation "...or maybe i'm going crazy."

Eventually he's visited by a mysterious stranger, which'll be a creepy looking being, and tells him he's there to help. But the main character is convinced it's on to him and refuses to believe it's there to do good. In the end, "demon sounds" get louder and louder and the main guy laments that he opened a realm that's slowly consuming him...or maybe he's going crazy.

It's a classic "is he succumbing to schizophrenia or is it really happening" short. I think it'll be interesting to see if it can be pulled off with a very low to non-existent budget. I need to experiment with invisible string, the lighting, and how to move the camera the way I imagine it. There are also some pretty cool free demon sounds available.

I've got hugely extensive sound libraries if you need anything from it (seriously, had to buy an extra external hard drive just to fit em all on) Sounds good though, but I can't help but feel it'd work best as a one-shot comic...

A B&W comic would be great. I'll see if it'll work in this instance and if not, I can always do something else.

It's basically a horror film and lord knows those are hard to pull off properly. I know i'm gonna need an actor and it'll be pretty difficult to find someone who is THAT convincing and will able to take a free lunch as payment.

Downloaded and installed Windows 8 today (could have got it on August 22nd through the DreamSpark premium service through Microsoft and University). I really like it
