Best Bond for me would be Daniel Craig. Best film? It's between World is Not Enough and Casino Royale. Leaning more towards CR

Live and Let Die is the best Bond film. Prime Jane Seymour. (a still unmatched) Theme Song by Paul friggin McCartney. Blaxploitation references. Roger Moore as English Gentleman Bond. WhatMoreCouldYouWant?

I thought George Lazenby was a good Bond even though he only played the role once. Connery was fun in the role too but I also prefer Brosnan, he played the role the best.

Live and Let Die is probably one of my favorite Bond songs, by virtue of it being written and performed by McCartney. As for Skyfall, it looks better than Quantum of Solace but i'm totally not buying Javier Bardem in that bleach blonde getup.

View to a Kill is my favourite I think, great theme tune (by Duran Duran) as well. Chris Walken as psycho Max Zorin was awesome!

Also love me some Man with the Golden Gun (which also has a great theme, IMO)...

I've only ever seen Goldeneye and Dr No. I've seen Dr No about 4 times as I always plan to watch the films but never get past that one. One day I'll watch them.

Not all of them are that great. Mostly the Roger Moore ones are pretty bad.

Craig has been my favpurite Bond, but only simply because the movies are becoming more of the type of movie i enjoy more. The suave, innuendo, sometimes upper lipped Bond of yesteryear never appealed to me, and to be honest, i always viewed the Bourne trilogy as something that the Bond franchise could have been. But i know it has a huge following, and i give that its due respect, but i am just saying i prefer a less corny special agent flick.

Agreed, those films (well, only seen the original three) do more for me than Bond does, although the nostalgia of watching Bond as a kid still counts for something.

I think I'm gonna have to choose Pierce Brosnan as my fave one as well.

I'd seen a number of the movies before, but I wasn't a huge Bond fan until Craig in Casino Royale. Like Pete said, I just can't get into the sort of "aristocratic" manner of some of the most well-loved Bond actors. Roger Moore was terrible, and I just can't buy into Brosnan as being a dangerous secret agent with a license to kill. Timothy Dalton as well.
Daniel Craig totally works for the way they describe Bond's past in CR: a lower-class orphan with a penchant for violence, recruited into government assassination work. He comes off as someone who could easily take you out with his bare hands. The brutish sort, who can also pull off a sort of smooth, manipulative personality.
Craig is easily my favorite. I'd never thought of Bond as a particularly compelling character until CR. Before then, he was just a pretty much two-dimensional caricature of the British in general.
Do have to say that Connery was great though, particularly in context with the 60s setting of his respective films. He might not seem quite as potentially intimidating as Craig, but I'd still buy into him as a 60s secret agent. The fight scene on the train in From Russia With Love was enough to convince me of how effective he can be in a physical sense, and he also obviously defined the way Bond interacts with people in conversation.

Really looking forward to Skyfall.

Thoughts on the Adele theme? I can't really stand Adele's music normally, and went and listened to the Skyfall theme pretty determined to dislike it, but I actually think it's quite a fitting Bond theme (probably 'cos it sounds a bit like Diamonds are Forever and Goldfinger sometimes), but then I did also not mind too much that one by Jack White and Alicia Keys...
