That whole movie is just dark and depressing but specifically, what brought me the most close to tears was when he was placing his sister in the makeshift coffin, putting her belongings in there and then he pauses just for one moment to get one last look at her before he closes the lid.

That is, to this day, the saddest moment I think I have ever seen.

Hachiko(american ver).. if you guys havent seen it, its amazingly going to make you think every other dog out their is a lazy POS compared to this dog.

I never really liked Lori, but her death led to a wonderful performance from Andrew Lincoln, playing as Rick. No ham fisted screaming in frustration or pounding on walls, that was the reaction of a man who just broke down after finding out the woman he loved, the mother of his children, had died.

One that just came to mind, was when i first watched Rocky Balboa. I didnt know about Adrian, and some of the scenes in that between Rocky and Paulie really came off well. Also the interactions with the Boxing board and also his son were good tearjerker scenes.

In the original fairy tale, she actually does throw back herself into the sea (while still in human form) and dies, after the prince marries someone else.
Ah, how messed up my mind would be if Disney had used that ending.
