Is Ouya still going? That kinda dropped off the map after the whole kickstarter thing.

Heard nothing about it since. Just seems every gen some wierd system comes along makes big promises some get excited some skeptical and they just fail or get a very small audience.

I dunno, with the majority of casual gamers unaware of what "free to play" actually means, it could really do well if it gets a decent level of promotion.

IMO another thing that hurts it is right now there s so many small boxes competing fot TV's and to the average consumer it's just anothe rbox they want nothing to do with. SImple TV,Vizio box,Google TV,Roku(tho Roku is doing very well and has built in mobile games) Apple TV,Western Digital box,Vudu box etc and big box stores pushing these things. Not to mention newer TV's have a bunch of apps built in. Even tho it's trying to be it's own thing ,it just looks like another entertainment box in a very crowded room and think Netflix is on it also making it seem more crowded

I doubt they will leave it at XBox but I'm also hoping they keep Kinect as an additional extra.

But yes XBox world do have a good track record when it comes to this stuff.

There's also the possibility of the Steam Box. Valve's working on something.

But anyway, I wish Microsoft would have ditched the branding of Xbox. But I always thought it sounded lame. (Of course they did ditch the Zune branding and named it Xbox Music which definitely sounds stupid.) But that's modern Microsoft.

I liked 360 at first after not caring for the original Xbox. But it became apparent as time went by that it was mostly a console for competitive multiplayer military shooters and most of the stuff I did like on it was multiplatform anyway. With that in mind and the amount Microsoft has screwed us over in the last year, I think it will be the last console of this generation I will show any interest in.

Most if not all are on other consoles as well. The console has plenty of non shooters its just Halo and COD are the best selling games on the system.

That's true, but I can't think of many exclusives I care about on Xbox aside from the Mistwalker games. Of course now they make games on Wii/U.

Well theres 6 Fable games, 5 if you don't count Pub games. And between Fable 3, Heroes and Journey its not like the series is much of a powerhouse anymore. I wish we could get more games like 1 and 2...but specifically more like 1.

What's so great about 1? It's just a ok bargain bin game but nothing worth over 20$ new.
