Sony Calls The Last Guardian's E3 Listing "Pure Speculation"

E3 website E3Insider.com has a listing for long delayed PS3 title The Last Guardian. But does that mean the game is coming to E3?

Kotaku reached out to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and asked if Sony would be showing The Last Guardian at E3. The Sony spokesperson said the E3Insider.com listing was "not true", adding that it "looks like pure speculation".

Earlier this year, Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida said, "We are waiting for the right time to re-introduce The Last Guardian."

I thought they would force this one out even if it meant giving it to someone else other then Team Ico. I know they had some other studios help out with it but I'm surprised they're stopping work since it was being worked on for about 7 years. They might not have made their money back but it could have cushioned the blow a little.

Hopefully it get's resurrected but I've give up after this news.
