Crazy Taxi Movie is trying to get made

I was cleaning through shit and found a flyer from some japanese company and apparently they're trying to get a film made from Crazy Taxi. It might be a pipedream but that'd be pretty interesting to see.

I never really got very far in the game because I didn't think the game was worth investing that much time in, but did they ever play more songs than that Offspring song. I can't tell you how annoying it was playing that and hearing "Ya ya ya ya ya" over and over again.

I honestly don't know how you can make Crazy Taxi into a movie even based on the vague synopsis. It basically all boils down to "we have to get more customers to their destinations before THEY DO".

I honestly don't know how you can make Crazy Taxi into a movie even based on the vague synopsis. It basically all boils down to "we have to get more customers to their destinations before THEY DO".

The main characters from the game work for a small independent taxi service when a new chain one like Uber comes to town and starts stealing all their business. Axel comes up with a plan about how they can make taxi rides more exciting by having crazy and fun rides like in the game to bring back their customers. The big taxi company doesn't like this one bit and end up attacking his girlfriend who would be whatever the name of the woman character from the game was. Axel doesn't like this and challenges them to a taxi off. Him and the black guy against two of their guys, whoever can make the most money in 30 minutes wins and the loser has to leave town.

Aslong as it also has a Fast and the Furious style taxi gathering with girls dancing for no reason im all in.

So take all that, put in more crime violence and sex, and equal profit. It obviously wont be oscar material, but it could be fun.

At that point it ceases to be Crazy Taxi though.

You're better off making a brand new flick involving taxis.

Riku's synopsis actually sounds pretty cool.
Just so long as it isn't played straight. It's gotta be clear that the whole intention is goofiness and fun. Sorta like a Crank movie, without all the gratuitous vulgarity.
