Whats the name of the boat?

Hi there :)

A small simple detail came to my mind the other day when I played through the 1st game again.
Whats the name of the boat? Anyone able to translate?

Genpu-Maru

Although other sources say Gempu-Maru and Genpu-Maku. I just go for the one in between coz it's the most logical (to someone who can't wrap their head round Japanese)

"Genpu" means "Black wind." And "Maru" is added to denote that it's the name of a ship.
