I have listened to Shenmue music non-stop since KS started

I'm certain this question has been asked many times on the forums before, but Ryuji Iuchi's insightful interview and the new hype have inspired me to ask again. We have something like 500+ songs throughout the games, and it's the one thing that, unlike the graphics and gameplay, can't technically be called limited by the DC?

What was the stand out piece of music throughout the series, if there could only be one, for you? Can be F.R.E.E., incidental or OST, anything.

Another pick is Morning Fog's Wave and the New Departure. They both fully encapsulate the sadness and roaring emotion as Ryo develops his anger and conviction. Adore.

What I love most about Shenmue's music is not only how it perfectly captures the moment in the games, but also its ability to help relieve stress.

My favourite musical piece in Shenmue, hands down, is "Sha Hua". I distinctly remember the very first time I heard it in-game - playing on Ryo's cassette player while standing opposite Tom's hotdog truck just after exiting Global Travel Agency - and it made my spine tingle; an effect no other song had ever had on me up 'til that point.
