To be honest does it matter to you if a fishing rod is called "Longstick of Jerry" vs calling it "fishing rod n3" ?? or if the black suited guys you beat in a couple of seconds have brown hair instead of black ? (even lan di's henchmen in the first game are western looking, as a lot of the black suits in the second game).
Most of these things actually make the game funnier in some sense, and are not intrusive at all.
I just think they went a little overpriced for a job that requires little effort on their part (and from a backer perspective/value don't make much sense).
