i just had the money go out from my account.

looks like there was some extra fee's involved which were taken by the bank for making a purchase in a foreign currency.

£1 automatic surcharge per transaction + 3% of whatever the transaction amount is.

a bit annoying - especially the 3% on my highest pledge amount

glad its been taken though.

i'm from the uk, and used my bank debit card.
anyone else have similar fee's?

Am I the only one slightly annoyed by the lazy fucks who are like "Oh gee, my payment says it's declined, guess I'll just wait until Paypal is allowed"?

Yeah, or you could just get off your arse and phone your bank and sort it out! Or try another account.

I'm aware the Greek fans are not even be allowed to have their money sent overseas (at least until last week) and some Brazilians are having problems with their financial institution (in Brazil there's a 6.5% tax using CC for international purchases + exchange rate fees to deal with).

As for me, I've cleared two payments but I still got a few more as a favor for some friends.

We were aware of the situation in Greece a while before the campaign ended though. Greek fans shouldn't have even attempted to pledge (hopefully they didn't) or should have cancelled their pledges once it came out that money won't be leaving the country.

As for the taxes and foreign currency fees etc., everyone should have been aware of those expenses. It's standard practice.

Is the fee listed as "FGN PUR FEE 26.48"?

If so that's the fee they added onto my $1500 pledge, which i've just worked out is around 1.76%

yes, it was titled something different at my bank but it must be the equivalent. i probably should have done a little bit more research beforehand, but it doesn't really matter since i have no regrets about the amount i pledged, and would do the same again.

I pledged 100 $ (I wish I could have done more, but I don't have money ATM), and if I log in my kickstarter profile, it says the pledge has been collected, but I haven't received any email where I could choose the physical/digital copy of the game yet...is this regular?

Mine was collected on the 21st. It was quite a bit less than I was expecting considering the fee added on for international shipping. I would have probably pledged even more if I knew it would reduce after the conversion that much. Ah well, guess I'll just have more to send PayPal's way when that goes live.

I was lucky and got paid for my job just directly before Kickstarter collected.

Yeah, same thing happened to me too, I got charged £199ish and around an additional £5ish for the surcharge. Sucks but I'm glad the bulk of the money is in Yu's theoretical hands now!
