Even after the announcement of the Kickstarter campaign, all I heard was "Please include Nozomi" (laughs). So I've made it possible to make a phone call to Nozomi.
Thanks for the great translation, Switch!
I voted Shenhua! What's wrong with you guys? Voting Nozomi? Or even Ryo, who's the main character anyway?
Shenhua is a huge mysterium and a key character and I'm really curious how her story will pan out.

On another note, do you think that the "end 2017" release date is realistic?
I doubt it... but I would sign for 6-9 month delay rather than having a rushed game.
You're right about the interviews I think, there's just a pretty huge language barrier there.
Regarding the 2017 release date, I really really doubt it. I don't think any Kickstarter-funded game ever met its initial release date. Usually they get delayed, and even then they tend to release as incomplete versions, with free updates adding the missing content later on (see Shovel Knight, Broken Age). We'll have to see how Shenmue III turns out, but I'd say it's save to say that difficulties and delays can be expected.
